The Centre for Education of Youth KANA in Sosnowiec

KANA is active mainly in the region of Silesia. We are located in Sosnowiec, which is heavily affected by negative side effects of the restructuring of heavy industry, growing unemployment and increasing poverty. The town does not have adequate institutional or organizational infrastructure dedicated to preventing negative social side effects of rapid economic transformations.

KANA was founded on the strength of the Decree of the Bishop of Sosnowiec - Adam Smigielski, PhD - of December 8, 2000.

KANA acquired its legal status by virtue of the Decree of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of March 22, 2001 (Official Journal No 28 of April 4, 2001 item 316)
