Our offer for 2006/2007 is divided into three categories:

1. Computer courses - 2-hour classes held once a week .
Youth ages 16 to 25 who are unemployed, with disabilities and come from low-income families (the income per person lower than 600 PLN) are eligible for the courses free of charge. They are obliged to pay a 100 PLN deposit, which is refunded on condition that a person passes a final exam.
If neither of the aforesaid requirements is fulfilled, a person who wants to participate in the course must pay for it.
Cost of the course - 200 PLN per 34 hours.

We would like to remind that the complete income from the courses is allowed for supporting the free of charge courses for young people who are unemployed, with disabilities and come from low-income families.

You can choose from four thematic modules:
Internet and multimedia
Basic computer competence including Word and Excel
Programming course (HTML + PHP + MySQL)
Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

2. Foreign language courses - 64-hour courses on different levels. We provide courses in:
English
German

3. Courses preparing for 'matura' exam
The 50-hour course starts in October and finishes in April. We offer small groups and well-trained teachers. The cost - only 165 PLN (including course materials). We provide courses in:
Mathematics
Biology
History
Geography
English
Social studies

1. Ambitious Films at the Studio Cinema
We would like to invite you for regular shows of valuable and important films as well as meetings with outstanding personages of the world culture. The previous series of meetings is well remembered as it was held by Magdalena Piekorz - a director of a film 'Pręgi' - a winner of Polish Golden Reels at the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia.
The next series of meetings is promised to be equally interesting. You will meet there some prominent quests and the raised issues are going to initiate heated discussions. This year, the meetings will be held by a film expert - Barbara Surmacz-Dobrowolska.

2. Social dance classes - a 20-hour course based on the World Dance Programme covering the most popular dances.

3. Journalistic and film classes - Some people believe that you must be naturally gifted to become a journalist or a film-maker. They often can't justify their opinion but are unwilling to change their mind.
Others believe that everything can be taught, because journalism does not differ much from other occupations.
Who is to believe? Check yourself and take part in Journalistic and Film Classes in Centre of Youth Education KANA.

During the classes you will:
meet authorities in Polish journalism,
learn journalism genres,
learn about text adjustability,
learn about the media,
learn to select the material by your own,
learn the rudiments of reporter's photography and picture communication
gain the practical and theoretical knowledge of the process the journalistic material goes through and you will have an opportunity to make use of your creativity,
learn about deontology and the media ethics,
participate in heated discussions
learn to make up a newspaper by means of Adobe InDesign.

A ready to print magazine prepared by the class participants will crown your efforts.
Each class will deal with different issues and our prominent guests (journalists and other people from the media) will not let you get bored.
The classes take place on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. They are held by the Reverend Paweł Rozpiątkowski

4. Arts classes - all interested, please contact our secretariat. The classes will start as soon as a group is gathered.

1. Gym - Fitness
Let us invite you to our new fitness gym, which is equipped in a very professional Kettler equipment such as steppers, exercise bikes, treadmills etc. They are durable and easy to operate. Everybody will find it comfortable due to set adjustments. A trainer is at your disposal all the time when you are working out. She can give you some advice and select a suitable set of exercises for you, so that you will be able to achieve the intended goal - a fit figure and great mood.

A ten-time pass (valid for 3 months):

The Fitness gym is open:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

*Only students ages 15 - 25 (the age is to be proved by a student card), unemployed and with disabilities are entitled to the price.

2. Aerobics and Stretching - twice a week classes designed for girls and women.

3. Aerobics and Tae-Bo - it is a new form of aerobics that joins elements of eastern martial arts and conventional aerobics. A lot of kicking, blows and jumps help to lose weight very quickly. This form of exercising is suitable for those who want to strengthen and shape their buttocks, thigh, waist, abdomen and shoulders.

4. Step fitness - it is a form of exercises consisting in stepping up and down a step. It is perfect for those who want to shape the lower part of their body. The classes are designed for girls and women.

5. Physiotherapy treatment - let us invite you to make use of therapeutic, relaxation and cosmetic massages, as well as manual therapy and exercises, which are held by an experienced certified physiotherapist.

6. We would like to invite all the interested to make use of a table tennis on the following days:
Monday - Friday between 9.30am - 6.30 pm
It is free of charge.
